Anyone who has practiced Chinese calligraphy knows that when you write on a piece of rice paper, you must put a piece of felt underneath. This is because the thinness and absorbency of rice paper will allow the ink to soak down.

Position: Personal Project
I draw them one on a piece of rice paper with ink. And I really enjoy the way how the ink diffuses on the paper and the uncontrollable nature of the writing process.
I decided to fold up the paper and draw the letters on the top layer. And use too much ink to write. See what happens when I open this one up.
