Visual Identity Design
SVA design department is committed to communicating with people through design. We communicate with our audience through a variety of media-designed visual languages. To demonstrate that, my design focuses on how the design communicates with the audience.
There are two main ways people communicate today: one is to talk face-to-face, and the other is to use electronic devices to chat online. Therefore, I chose to use speech bubbles to represent real talking and electronic cursors to represent online conversations.

Symbol Design for SVA Design Department
I reorganized the SVA logo flower with basic design elements, round triangles and squares. Then I filled it with echoing patten and hit “SVA” inside. By combining the element that represent the SVA design department and the elements that represent communication, the symbol on this pair of flags shows people the characteristics of the SVA design department.
